ahhh

we go through lots of "two steps forward, one step back" moments. today was one of those two steps forward kind of day. hurray! there was nothing specific that made it fabulous. sebastian had a great time at school (also meaning that elliot and i avoided meltdowns at school ). elliot napped very well. and I made it to my photoshoot on time and in one piece...minus getting pulled over for expired tabs...from March! yikes!

some cute phrases from sebastian: "ready, set, go" is said often to prepare us for his sprints across the living room. or his version of twinkle twinkle little star "twinkle, twinkle...star, how I wonder are, up so high, like a diamond in sky".

a tender moment with elliot: i love laying next to him in bed as he drifts off to sleep! he enjoys snuggling! maybe elliot will be our child who actually wants to sleep and snuggle with us in bed! sebastian wants nothing to do with laying down or resting! once he is up, he is up!
